W. Scott Parker
Vice President, Healthcare and Senior Living

Scott joined Elkins shortly after his graduation from the University of North Florida, where he received a degree in building construction in 1989. Starting out as an intern, Scott has been with the company through his entire career and has been an integral part of the company’s success. His 20 years of experience and his team-oriented style of management reflects the unique ability to understand our clients' needs.

He is currently the lead for an upscale, high profile, luxury condominium and a senior living facility, as well as several office buildings. At Elkins, Scott has been responsible for some of our most well known, international customers including, the PGA Tour, America Online, British Airways, and United Technologies.

Scott has lived in Jacksonville almost all of his life. He and his wife, Dawn, have three children. He is a member of Church at Chets Creek where he has served on the Advisory Board and the Building and Finance Committee 2003-2006.

Throughout his career, Scott has been dedicated supporter of the University of North Florida as chairman of the UNF Construction Management Advisory Committee, the Building and Construction Management (BCM) Chairman Section Committee and the BCM Academic Advisor Selection Committee.

Scott also established the Elkins Intern Program for building and construction management students. Every year, Elkins employs as many as 10 college students allowing them to experience first hand the construction management process. Upon their graduation, a significant number of interns are hired on as full-time employees at Elkins.
