Barry L. Allred
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Barry has led the company since 1984 and brings more than three decades of construction industry experience to the company. He began his career as a project manager in Indiana after earning his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Evansville. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from Butler University.
A Jacksonville, Florida, resident since 1979, Barry is very active in his roles as an officer or board member of civic groups, professional associations and charitable organizations. These include the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce — of which he was a chairman — Baptist Health Foundation, Associated Builders and Contractors Advisory Council, River Region Human Services, Associated General Contractors, the University of North Florida’s Dean’s Advisory Council, Jacksonville Commodores League, Rotary Club of West Jacksonville, Boy Scouts of America, Independent Living Foundation, Blueprint for Prosperity, RealSense Prosperity Campaign, The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, Clay County Development Authority and the Mayor’s Council on Literacy. Barry’s positive attitude toward life, coupled with his commitment and ingenuity, are the cornerstones of his many achievements. His personal business philosophy is to strive for excellence, hire the best people and treat customers the way you expect to be treated.
